The 2D PQA High Density Image Reader is a
handheld input device for reading and decoding two dimensional (2D) symbologies.
The 2D PQA offers integrated support for
Matrix, stacked linear, and conventional linear bar codes, as well as a single
line of OCR-A and OCR-B fonts. Multi-line OCR applications can also be read. The 2D PQA is designed for reading high
density matrix symbols and has
the power to capture and download images to a PC for applications, such as
signature capture, PC-based decoding, and image lift requirements.
The
2D PQA has a built in Verification that is critical for the National and
International Standards organizations which developed specific guidelines or
methodologies to measure bar code symbol print quality. It identifies a
successful read symbol and also reports graded measurement parameters obtained
from the symbol.
The 2D PQA is not
"true" verification in the traditional sense of the work; however it
can easy and inexpensively provide test results that you may find useful for 2D
bar code symbol print quality process control.
