The RedBeam Check In/Check Out Standard Edition of RedBeam’s tracking
software is a complete item database with the ability to use cabled
barcode scanners attached to PC workstations. You can enter employees,
members, customers or students into the system, and then check items in
and out to them using a cabled barcode scanner. You can easily report on
which items are checked out and to whom. Monitor overdue items, rental
fees, item usage and more. RedBeam Check In/Check Out supports Windows
XP, Server 2003 and Vista
Barcode
Barcode your items and if desired employee, member, customer or student
IDs. All software RedBeam software packages come with a pack of blank
barcode labels that can be printed on your standard laser printer.
Scan
Scan or enter the ID of the person checking out an item. Then scan or
enter each of their items. If using rental fees, they can be charged for
at time of check out. When an item is returned, scan the item back in.
If using overdue fees, they can be charged during of check in.
Track
Run reports that show which items are checked out and to whom. Get
visibility of overdue items, item usage by person or department, rental
and overdue fee value and transaction histories.
