RedBeam Asset Tracking Standard Edition of the software is a complete fixed
asset database with the ability to use cabled barcode scanners attached to PC
workstations. Keep asset records up to date and periodically take a physical
inventory of assets. Data fields include barcode ID, location, department,
maintenance, purchasing, warranty, lease, deprecation, information technology
and 50 other user definable fields. RedBeam Asset Tracking supports Windows XP,
Server 2003 and Vista.

software packages come with a pack of blank barcode labels that can be printed
on your standard laser printer, or you can print to any barcode label printer
that uses Windows drivers.
Scan
Print a
report of bar coded count sheets that allow you to take periodic inventories of
your fixed assets. Go from location to location and mark the count sheets with
each asset found.
Track
Using a
cabled barcode scanner, scan the data (or manually enter data) from the count
sheets to update the location of your fixed assets and report on found and
unfound items.
