The 8800 has a large scanning area useful for walk under applications. The 8800 has a depth of field approximately 12% longer than the 8500 and 8400 models.
The 8500's scan area is 22% wider than the 8800, Its excellent balance of scan width and depth of field makes the 8500 the highest selling model in this series.
The 8400 has the same scan width and depth of field as the 8500, but has 3 lasers instead of 5, making it our most affordable holographic scanner. Scanning performance of the 8400 is equal to the 8500 when labels are less than 1.5 times as wide as they are tall. When labels are wider, the 8500 performs better.
