The Baracoda D-Fly is a wireless barcode scanner dedicated to mobile workers who require a compact and easy-to-use device for application such as Sales Force Automation, Field Force Automation, Merchandising or Asset Tracking.

Its compact design enables the mobile workers to bring it out in the field. It can be recharged in a car on the cigarette lighter and also integrates a stylus for use with tactile screens.

With the BaracodaManager Software tools, D-Fly connects easily to any mobile device (mobile phone, PDA, smartphone) and it is easy to integrate on a wide range of platforms: Windows, Windows Mobile and CE.Net, Palm, Symbian. It also integrates a buffer memory which enables the data to be memorized in the scanner if the Bluetooth connection fails.

  • When D-Fly is connect to a host, scanned barcodes are transmitted in real time to this host. Barcodes are stored within internal memory until they are acknowledged by the application. If you scan barcodes out of the radio range, they will be stored in memory and automatically downloaded when getting back into range
